Md. Shamim Reza Sagor

Md. Shamim Reza Sagor is an alumnus of the 8th Batch of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sylhet Agricultural University. He completed his B.Sc. Ag. (Hons.) from SAU and later pursued his master’s in Agricultural Extension at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University. He is currently serving as an Agriculture Extension Officer at the Department of Agricultural Extension, recommended through the 43rd BCS, and previously worked at Sonali Bank PLC.

His journey reflects patience, self-awareness, and determination through the difficult path of competitive job preparation. Although BCS was not his childhood dream, he gradually shaped his preparation with discipline, reading habits, family support, and strong friendships. His story carries an important message for young graduates: keep multiple doors open, stay patient, protect your mental peace, and never define life by one single exam or career path. Through his current role, he continues to serve farmers, agriculture, and rural communities as a proud SAU graduate.
