Maiful Akter Dina

Maiful Akter Dina is an alumna of the 4th Batch of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sylhet Agricultural University. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding at Sylhet Agricultural University. Her academic and research work is connected with plant genetics, plant breeding, biotechnology, tissue culture, in vitro regeneration, and conservation of plant genetic resources.

Her research contributions include work on ex-situ conservation of endangered medicinal plants, in vitro plant regeneration of Brassica napus, local rice cultivar regeneration, and rapeseed-mustard genotype evaluation. She has also worked on advanced molecular and biomedical research topics, including SNARE peptide engineering for drug delivery. Her academic journey reflects a strong interdisciplinary foundation, connecting crop improvement, plant biotechnology, conservation, and molecular research.
