Biography/ Professional summary
Tohidur Rahman is an alumnus of the 8th Batch of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sylhet Agricultural University. He completed his B.Sc. in Agriculture from SAU and later pursued his M.S. in Plant Pathology at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University. He is currently serving as an Agriculture Extension Officer (AEO) at the Upazila Agriculture Office, Durgapur, Rajshahi, where he works closely with farmers, soil, crops, and agricultural development activities.
During his student life at SAU, Tohidur was actively involved in leadership, voluntary work, debating, blood donation, and student organizations. He served as General Secretary and President of Badhan, Sylhet Agricultural University Unit, and contributed to several social, cultural, and career-focused organizations. His journey reflects resilience, discipline, public service, and a deep commitment to serving farmers and rural communities. Through his professional role in the agriculture cadre, he continues to represent SAU’s spirit of leadership, service, and dedication to Bangladesh’s agricultural development.
