Md. Rafat-Al-Foysal

Md. Rafat-Al-Foysal is an alumnus of the 3rd Batch of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sylhet Agricultural University. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agronomy and Haor Agriculture at Sylhet Agricultural University and is currently on study leave pursuing his Ph.D. at Zhejiang University, China. He completed his B.Sc. Ag. (Hons.) and M.S. in Agronomy, building a strong academic foundation in crop production and crop management. His research focuses on agronomy, crop production systems, haor agriculture, heavy metal stress in crops, and crop tolerance mechanisms. He has contributed to research on cadmium tolerance in Tibetan hull-less barley, rice production, rapeseed-mustard cropping patterns, seed quality, and hybrid rice performance. His academic and research journey reflects a strong commitment to advancing crop science, sustainable production, and stress-resilient agriculture.
